This bag crochet pattern can be used to make cute summer bags the perfect size for carrying the essentials, coin purses, or cases which can be used for glasses, pencils or even crochet hooks. The main bag and flap is made in one piece and in only 4 rounds, making them a quick and easy project. An ideal pattern for craft fair table fillers, creating many variations with just one pattern! The pattern includes options for 3 different strap/handle styles, rounded, flat or wide. You can use any type of yarn you like, and choose to use 1 colour or a mix of colours.
- Yarn weight: You can use any yarn weight or type you like
- Hook Size: Use a hook size suited for your chosen yarn weight
- Size: Different yarn weights and hook sizes will determine the finished sizes, use the guide below to help choose

DK/Light Worsted yarn with 4mm hook = W 3.5″/9cm x H 5.5″/14cm
Aran/Worsted yarn with 5mm hook = W 4.5″/11.5cm x H 6.5″/16.5cm
Chunky/Bulky yarn with 6mm hook = W 5.5″/14cm x H 7″/18cm
Glasses, Pencil, Hook Case sizes:
Keep the width shorter by using a 4mm hook.
