Welcome to
Hooked On Patterns’
yarn colour inspirations!
I love crochet, and I’m obsessed with yarn colours. If I find a colourful, beautiful image, I examine it to find the balance of colours across the page.
Yarn Palette #6: Here we have a gorgeous common Kingfisher bird. The Kingfisher’s plumage provides an array of striking colours for us to gather inspiration. The range of colours lends itself to an autumnal palette. They would work great together as a blanket, or maybe as a cardigan.
Yarn Palette Colour Scheme #6 Kingfisher Bird
I’ve had a search for yarn ranges, with suitable colours to match my scene, over on the LoveCrochet website. I have selected my yarns from acrylic ranges, to capture the vibrant colours of the Kingfisher.
If you like my yarn palette, please consider purchasing your yarns via my affiliate links. At no extra cost to you, I would receive a small commission.
