Pyjama Monsters Free Crochet Pattern

Emma W. for her 2 Pyjama Monsters!
These cuties were made as birthday gifts for her first cousins once removed aka her niece and nephew (thanks Google!). Emma has used 2 strands of DK weight yarn worked together to get the fun mix of colours. She’ll be keeping the pattern ready to make one for her own son too, once he’s old enough to tidy his own jammies away.

Grab your copy of the Pyjama Monsters pattern here.

Wizard Gonk Free Crochet Pattern

Jeannette V. for her Wizard Gonk!
Jeannette made this Gonk for herself, just for fun, after making a fluffy Santa Gonk to dress her Christmas table.

You can find the free Wizard Gonk outfit to fit the Santa Gonk pattern within the Becoming Santa story here.

Kiko Hooded Vest Crochet Pattern

Linda H. for her Kiko Hooded Vest!
Linda made this for her sister and she loved it. Isn’t it lovely when a handmade gift is truly appreciated!

Want to make a Kiko Cross Front Hooded Vest yourself? Get the pattern here.

crochet blog competition - Biker Gonk Hooked On Patterns

An interesting story regarding this picture. I had fulfilled all of my contractual obligations concerning the Transport Gonks, and in particular, Biker Gonk.

I made one refusal which concerned having my character, Biker Gonk, stand next to a blue moped. Following lengthy discussions with the project director, I relented. As you will see, they took the photo as I walked away. The result was the following photograph:

Biker Gonk with Moped

Well, following publication, it was pointed out that none of the bikes used suited the Biker Gonk (to the project director: I told you so!).
Anyway, I was lucky enough to be offered the very cool heavy bike above (A big shout out to Lavonne!). The team were called in and we got the right shot. The bike was returned with only a few fibres of yarn stuck in crevices.

Biker Gonk is the Free crochet pattern from the Transport Gonk pack. You can find that pattern here.
