R15.-R17. ch1, sc x10, turn (10 for 3 rows – do not count ch1) Fasten off and weave in ends.

Dungarees buttons and details

For buttons, make 2 small circles in grey/silver yarn. Start with a magic ring and sc x5 into ring, pull closed, cut yarn and pull through last loop, using your yarn needle, pass the tail through the first sc st and back through the middle of the last loop.
Secure and thread the end through to the middle of circle. Attach them to the corners of the front piece by threading the starting and tail ends through the piece either side of a post and tie together. The skipped chain stitches on the straps form the buttonholes.
Embroider stitch details using a length of yarn in another colour. I have used back stitches to make 2 lines around the waist, a line down either side, and a pocket shape on the front panel. You could add some side and back pockets too if you like.

Bonus Outfit! – Farmer Gonk free crochet pattern

You can easily adapt this farmer outfit into a modern fishing outfit.
Just add a base to the dungarees to make waders and work in Green yarn! For the waders base, follow the Gonk’s body pattern from R1. to R7. and go straight on to the dungarees instructions.
